Tomatoes
Tomatoes, which are botanically a fruit, taste much more savory than most other fruits and are basically considered vegetables in a culinary sense. The vines and unripened fruit is poisonous but when ripe, they are completely harmless. Tomatoes are known for their concentration of Lycopene, the most powerful naturally occurring anti-oxidant. Plant the seeds outdoors after last frost but as early as possible. If planted in January, they could be ripe as early as April or May. Eat them raw or any other way you can imagine them. Try pickling the unripened tomatoes. They are INCREDIBLE!
