Raised Planters

These box-like structures can be built out of wood, stone, metal, concrete or brick. A large planter (4’ wide x 12’ long x 2’ high) will require 3.5 cubic yards of soil. The height of a raised planter will be less strenuous on your back and your knees while gardening.
