Rain Barrels

Rain barrels collect and store rain water from your roof for use in the garden. You can do it yourself! Connect it to a downspout on the side of your house and attach a hose to the bottom of the barrel. If you are worried about mosquitoes, there are tablets that you can put into the water, which will safely kill larvae.
