Drip Irrigation

Drip irrigation, otherwise known as soaker hose, has many tiny holes that conserve water by dripping directly onto the plant roots. The hose connects to one main water source, is spread throughout planting beds, and buried under the mulch. You can also connect your drip irrigation to your rain barrel and put it on a timer.
