Broccoli is wonderfully versatile and extremely nutritious and exceptionally tasty! Plant it in the late summer because it will take three months to mature. The wait is well worth it, as broccoli is a fantastic source of vitamin C and many other important nutrients such as calcium, iron and potassium. Eat it raw or steam it… Great with garlic and a little citrus.
