Bell Peppers

Peppers are a great addition to any garden. Many varieties grow well in Southern Louisiana. You can find red, yellow and green bell pepper seeds but look for the elusive white and purple varieties! They have a slightly different flavor but will certainly wow your friends or family when they see them hanging around in your garden! Plant them between Mid-January and the end of February. This is another great source of vitamin C for you to enjoy raw or cooked.
