Kohlrabi

Fruits & Vegetables

Kohlrabi is a turnip variety and has a similar texture to the stem of broccoli. Plant this sometime until the end of March and give it 60 days or more to mature. Try cooking as you would cabbage, kale or brussels sprouts. Kohlrabi can be eaten raw but be wary of the fully mature stock. They can get a bit tough and woody.
