At the edge of New Orleans East the Lyncker family lives in a fishing community. Here they are surrounded by water finding a stable footing in the ground requires building a different kind of fence. These simple pilings with rope stretched between them gives the property a clear boundary that fits into the local vocabulary beautifully.
