Mrs. Howze and her great-nephew plant and water their new garden. The palette of daffodils, azaleas, and ornamental grasses will create a low maintenance, colorful space, and the simple brick edging will keep the turf and plantings separate. Mrs. Howze is lucky enough to have several mature cypress trees on her property; she was resourceful and collected the fallen cypress leaves to use as mulch.
