Dupree’s Flower Garden
Mrs. Dupree grew up in Carrolton and moved to Gentilly 14 year so ago in order to have more space. She’s one of the only participants to demonstrate how plantings can delineate boundaries of a property. As her hedge matures, we will begin to see a box within a box, full of food and flowers. She planted a hibiscus shrub outside the window where her mother can look out and see her favorite color flowers. If you give a knock on the door, Mrs. Dupree doesn’t mind if you take a stroll around.
